This pack includes a set of 20 Karakia cards. Each card has an English translation included on the reverse, and just requires you to flip the card over to read. This set contains the same 20 karakia cards. However comes in a lightweight and compact A7 size, meaning you can take them anywhere with you. This pack will fit in your pocket or bag.

The flowing Karakia types are included:

4 Karakia timatanga and 1 karakia whakatuwhera hui - for opening/beginning whether it be your day, hui or theraputic soace.

5 Karakia mo te kai - karakia to give thanks and acknowledgement for food.

1 Karakia mo nga mahi of te rā - a karakia that can be used for infusing your activities with a blessing from mahi art, to any experience.

These karakia take a traditional approach to the ritual of karakia and have no specific faith or religion. They were translated and checked by Lois McIver. However it important to recognise there are not always exact matches or appropriate English words to fully capture the essence of our Māri kupu. These translations invite the reader to explore and acknowledge the overall meanings of the karakia.
