Horokaka is a very busy gal. Most of us will recognise her from trips to the moana, where she does tino important mahi helping to stabilise sand dunes. I ngā wā o mua, our people would eat the fruit off the plant in the summer months and would squeeze out the juice from the leaves to apply it to boils to draw out pus!
Our Horokaka flowers are pretty pink, complete with hand painted yellow centres and 3D clear glitter for texture. Approx 4cm wide and presented on closed hoops As these items are hand painted please expect some minor differences in tone and shade from pair to pair.
